The Orlando Florida Temple, located five miles southeast of Orlando, is one of a series of detailed pencil drawings and paintings created by the artist Chad S. Hawkins. In 1989, at the age of seventeen, Chad started this unique temple series, becoming the original LDS artist to involve hidden spiritual images in his artwork.
The thirteen-acre temple site is located on a knoll overlooking the citrus-fruit-growing region and the beautiful Butler chain of lakes. Its exterior is made of white cast stone containing chips of marble that glisten in the sun of the “Sunshine State.” In this picture, Chad has sketched an image of the Savior, Jesus Christ, in the clouds to the left of the structure, motioning us to attend the temple.
