The pencil drawing Praying Hands was created by Chad Hawkins while serving a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Frankfurt, Germany. At the age of 19, Chad gave prints of this drawing to investigators of the church. It served as a visual reminder of the promise Moroni gave to pray sincerely about the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and the message of the restored gospel.
Prints have since been used thousands of times as a leave behind for investigators, baptism gifts, primary gifts, and by those seeking a gentle reminder of the beautiful gift prayer and personal revelation serves in our lives.
